The EXCELSIOR® classique 1 XLR 1 consists of two opposite pairs of wires (crossover), each with 4 x 0.20 mm². An extremely low capacitance of only 37 pF per meter is achieved, which enables extremely low-loss transmission (even with excess lengths). A tight stranding technique and fine, oxygen-free copper strands guarantee a homogeneous, linear and unadulterated sound. Furthermore, the cable has a dense multiple shielding with 100% optical coverage. Each channel was provided with a tinned copper spiral screen and an AL / PT foil.
